Last night danced to the Clumsy Lovers down from B.C.

Looked like it was going to rain, but stopped and they put on their usual high energy show. Gotta love the banjo and fiddle, the whole band are talented musicians.

Just got back from a concert on the ISU Quad. Marcus Eaton and the lobby played. Good buddy Nick Jones on Bass, he picked up the bass and was rockin'.

Nice relaxing summer evening, it was lovely.

I've been learning about linux clusters, and I may soon finally get to build one. Beowulf, Myra PVM, MPICH, OpenMosix, interconnects, cooling, power, racks, Xeon, Opteron, Itanium, and more buzzwords have all been going through my head. It seems like penguincomputing and microway have nice setups, as well as linuxnetworkx, but I think they are way beyond our modest means.

Hmm.. Spent some time musing about freevo vs. mythtv, and obsessing about why my matrox g400 card has no tv out. Well, maybe it does, and I just don't have a cable.

digital knowledge management? buzzword compliant archival? I'm not sure what it is other than my first post.
